Dr. Aimee Skelton believes that everyone deserves access to quality and affordable orthodontic care. We understand that braces for yourself or a family member is an investment with lifelong benefits. Your oral health, self-esteem, and appearance will all benefit from orthodontic treatment, but navigating the financing and insurance coverage part of it can be difficult.
Options
Our team is here to help you understand your options when it comes to paying for treatment. We offer transparent, no-surprises cost estimates so that you always know exactly what you’re paying and never have to worry about hidden costs or fees. We offer various financing options, including insurance and Health Savings Accounts (HSA).
What is an HSA?
A Health Savings Account is a savings account that is very similar to a personal savings account you’d have at a bank. The difference is that instead of spending the money on anything you want, the money saved in an HSA is only used to pay for health care expenses. Typically the money in an HSA comes from a payroll deduction. Some employers contribute to an employee’s HSA, and other times it is only what the individual has chosen to have withdrawn from their check. Health Savings Accounts are beneficial because the money that is taken from your payroll check is deposited into your HSA without taxes being taken out. In general, to be eligible for an HSA, a person must have a high deductible insurance plan.
Does Skelton Orthodontics Take HSA Payments?
Yes! We strive to always be flexible in working with and accepting your HSA payments. There are several ways that we can divide your payments to make sure you are able to use your HSA for the maximum benefits. We have team members who can help you get these payments set up!
What If I Don’t have an HSA?
It is totally fine if you don’t have a Health Savings Account – many of our patients don’t. If your employer doesn’t offer an HSA program or if you choose not to contribute to one, it’s not a problem. We still take insurance and a variety of other payment methods. We also offer financing solutions that can help paying for your orthodontic treatment fit your budget.
