Interview with Dr. Aimee Skelton

What do you like most about being an orthodontist? I am very passionate about creating awesome smiles! I love being able to interact with my patients while helping them to improve their appearance and self-confidence, especially while having fun!

What can you be caught doing on the weekends? Reading, traveling, and going out to eat! I am a “FOODY” and love to try new restaurants and watch cooking shows.

Where did you go on your favorite vacation and what did you do? I traveled to Ireland and visited many beautiful places. My favorite was the Cliffs of Moher. I met intriguing people who were extremely friendly and wanted to know if I was Irish :).

What is one thing you want every person to know about his or her smile? Each smile is unique; no one person’s is the same. Each smile can always brighten someone’s day! Smiling is contagious!

Do you have any phobias or are you afraid of anything? Speaking in front of crowds makes me very nervous!

Have you ever had orthodontic treatment? If so, how old were you? I was 12 when I began orthodontic treatment. I had full banded braces and EVEN a headgear!

What is your favorite movie of all time? How many times would you guess you have seen it? Grease- :). 20+ times.

Do you have any pets? If so, what are their names? I have a male tabby cat with a bobtail! He is appropriately named Rowdy!
