SmileStar Spotlight: Meet Meri!
What an honor it has been to have Meri as one of our faces of Skelton Orthodontics over the past two years. We asked her a couple of questions about SmileStar and what her life is like now. Check out her responses below.
Dr. Aimee Skelton and her staff are so excited to introduce more of our 2016 SmileStar patients! We caught up with Meri and learned some fun things about her.

Q: What is your favorite thing about being a Smile Star? A: My favorite thing about being a Smile Star is when my friends tell me they saw my picture on the website or on a pamphlet.
Q: Do you have a favorite restaurant in the Fort Payne area? A: I love The Spot! Their sandwiches are yummy, and the coffee is great too.
Q: What do you like to do on the weekends? A: I like acting, dancing, being outside, and spending time with my friends.
Q: Where did you go to school? A: I went to Scottsboro High School, Northeast Alabama Community College, and Jacksonville State University.
Q: Are you involved in any activities, sports, or clubs? A: I was involved in dance and theatre all through high school and college, and recently I was the lead in a short film by a local director in Nashville. Currently, I’m a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
Q: Why do you enjoy your orthodontic treatment at Skelton Orthodontics? A: Dr. Skelton and her staff are so great! They’re really friendly, and they always remember me and what I’m up to. I can tell they really care about all of their clients. Plus they gave me the beautiful smile I’ve always wanted!
Q: Tell us a fun fact about you! A: I am obsessed with dogs, especially French Bulldogs. They’re so cute. Also, I can say the alphabet backwards.
Q: Is there a volunteer/community event you enjoy working with or attending? A: I like going to shows and concerts to support local bands in my area, and I’m a member of the Nashville Vegans.
