The American Association of Orthodontics suggests that children see an orthodontic specialist by age 7 to check on their jaw development and tooth alignment. However, that does not always mean that they are ready for braces or Invisalign at that age.
Dr. Aimee Skelton has a special club for this group of kids who are awaiting orthodontic treatment. The Super Cool Kids Club educates these “secret agents” about their teeth and are made to feel like they are a part of the Skelton Orthodontics family even though they do not get to start their treatment.
As Dr. Skelton’s Secret Agents, the kids get to complete different “missions” in order to save themselves and others from villains like Professor Plaque, Captain Cavity, and Doctor Decay. The missions involve coloring, tracking teeth, and checking in with their dentist. The kids will receive mail from “headquarters” and can claim their prizes for their hard work when they come in for their orthodontic check up.
